Dr. Amber Robinson grew up in Wichita, Kansas where she started pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian at the age of 16 by working at Indian Hills Animal Clinic as an animal care assistant while in high school. She then attended Kansas State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2011. Amber went on to attend Veterinary College at Kansas State University and graduated with her DVM in 2013. After graduation, she was an associate veterinarian in Katy, Texas, but quickly grew tired of being 9 hours away from family She moved back to Kansas and took an associate’s position at a clinic near Kansas City. There she practiced for the last seven years. In May 2021 she started working at Indian Hills Animal Clinic which allowed her to be back in her hometown Professionally, she has a great interest in small animal internal medicine, preventative care, and diagnostic medicine. Amber is married to her wonderful husband Scott. They recently became first-time homeowners and are excited to make their house a home. She has an adorable greyhound mix, Cosmo, and an 8-year-old cat, Willie (orange tabby) that she loves dearly. She also enjoys being an active member of her church, crafting, watching movies, and shopping.
