Dr. Kara Harman is originally from McKinney, Texas, where she grew up and graduated from high school. She spent 4 years playing Division I soccer at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and graduated with her Bachelor's in Biological Sciences. She went on to vet school at Texas A&M and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2021.
Dr. Kara Harman has a special interest in animal behavior, is certified in Fear Free medicine, and has a soft spot for working with animals to make sure they have the best experience possible. She is married to Max, who is a Marine Corps veteran. They have a son, Mikhail, and are planning on continuing to grow their family. They have 3 dogs: an English cream golden retriever (Kalli), a Staffordshire/chow mix (Cary), and a husky/heeler mix (Koda). In her free time, Dr. Harman enjoys hiking, hunting, and spending time with her family.
