Dr. Lori Reisig grew up in Aurora, Colorado, and attended the DU Lamont School of Music. She was a middle school orchestra teacher for her first career. Her change of career came in 1996 when she attended the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. She worked in several animal hospitals in all capacities as a CVT. Her desire to grow in the profession and her love of medicine took her on to Colorado State University, where she graduated with her DVM in 2009. Dr. Reisig is a member of the AVMA and the CVMA. Lori lives in Littleton and has a sweet Staffy girl, Birdie [citation].
