Dr. Sonia Lopez grew up in Santa Barbara, California. Her love for animals started at her family’s hometown in Michoacan, Mexico at a young age. She completed her bachelor’s degree at UC Davis. She later completed her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Texas A&M and Ross University. When not at work, you can find Dr. Lopez exploring the city, traveling, at the movies or live music events. Dr. Lopez is excited to be back in the city and excited to meet all the new fur-babies [citation].
