Shannon Noland was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona in 2013. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2019. Her passion is small/exotic/wildlife medicine with a strong interest in surgery and ultrasonography. She hopes to learn veterinary acupuncture in the near future. Throughout her journey to become a veterinarian, Dr. Noland has volunteered at Bunny Bunch, Farm Sanctuary, Wildlife Waystation, and in South Africa at the Avv Van Dyk Cheetah Center. She has done externships all over Southern California and has worked with everything from rattlesnakes to big cats and all creatures in between. At the moment, Dr. Noland has an Alaskan Malamute, a Samoyed, 2 German Shepherds, an African Grey, a Red-lored Amazon parrot, and a bunny When not at Loving Hands Animal Hospital or cuddling her own animals at home, she can be found at the gym weight lifting, wakeboarding, single skiing, or snowboarding.
