Britta Leise, DVM (LSU 2002), PhD, DACVS, joined the faculty of LSU Vet Med in October 2015. Her research focuses on inflammatory conditions in the horse, including sepsis and systemic inflammatory response syndrome, laminitis, osteoarthritis, and wound healing. She mentors veterinary students, interns, and residents in the LSU Vet Med Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
