Mason Dixon Animal Emergency HospitalHi, I’m Melissa. I have been in veterinary medicine since 2008 starting as a part-time kennel attendant and working my way up to management. Most of my experience has been in general practice but I am finding emergency medicine is very rewarding. I love being able to take care of pet owners just as much, if not more, than their pets.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two kids, and pup Pluto. I also love to read, spend time outdoors gardening or just enjoying the fresh air, and being by the water [citation].
