Sandy has been in veterinary medicine since 1982, and holds an Associate degree in Animal Health Science. She came from South Dakota and has lived in Pueblo since 1975. She graduated from Centennial High School in 1980 and then graduated from National College in 1982. She has many pets, Boston Terriers, a Chihuahua, several house cats, a parrot, and a horse. It has been her goal in this career to make a difference in animal lives, and to give them love and quality care as their nurse. Horses have always been her favorite animal and she loves to ride in the mountains. She also enjoys crafts, sewing, books, and just being with her family, 2 and 4 legged ones.
