Erika Gebhard was raised in San Francisco and has been a local practitioner since graduating from UC Davis Veterinary School in 2004. To pursue her interests in mobility, geriatric medicine, and pain management, Dr. Gebhard completed acupuncture certification (CVA) from Chi University and then physical rehabilitation certification (CCRT) from Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Gebhard works collaboratively with pet families to create individualized recovery and long-term management plans. Dr. Gebhard is the rehabilitation veterinarian for the Oakland Zoo and has consulted with the San Francisco Zoo and California Academy of Sciences. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, including her shaggy dog Roxie.
