Addie has been in the veterinary industry since 2004. Her journey began with an apprenticeship at a veterinary practice in her hometown of Salisbury, North Carolina, while she was still in high school. It was there that she discovered her passion for the ever-evolving world of veterinary medicine. Over the years, she has worked in nearly every role within an animal hospital, gaining hands-on experience in emergency, surgery, and general practice.
Before joining VMI, Addie spent eight years managing a large veterinary hospital in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, followed by a brief tenure in Pensacola, FL, overseeing a veterinary urgent care. She joined the VMI family in October 2019 as the Practice Manager of Main Street Veterinary Hospital. In 2021, she embarked on her journey in multi-site management, taking on the role of VMI’s Chief Hospital Administrator, where she played a key role in building and opening several hospitals. In 2023, she was promoted to lead VMI’s hospitals toward continued excellence and growth.
Addie has extensive experience in startups and acquisitions, as well as a deep passion for financial management, human resources, and helping veterinarians achieve their dreams. She is dedicated to enhancing client experiences and fostering a supportive, growth-driven environment for veterinary teams. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with her family [citation][3].
