Dr. Nicolas Ladouceur was born and raised in Quebec, Canada. At a young age, he quickly realized he had a passion for English riding. Through his experience with horses, he developed a strong interest in the field of equine dentistry. This led him to attend the Academy of Equine Dentistry, where he obtained certification in 2011 as a technician. Around this time, he began assisting and shadowing at Moore Equine in the process of continuing his dental education. He then attended veterinary school at Ross University and completed his clinical studies at Purdue University. Following his doctorate, he decided to complete a one-year internship at Moore Equine, where he developed his diagnostic, surgical, and restorative skills. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his lovely fiancé and their dog. Following the completion of his internship, Dr. Ladouceur joined the Moore Equine team. He also plays a big role in helping develop and maintain mooredvmeducation.com, which is the side of the practice that focuses on equine dental education [citation].
