Kathryn Storm grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. She attended the University of Vermont where she acquired a bachelor’s degree in animal science with a focus on Equine Science. After graduating in 2011, she worked at a large horse rescue in Maryland for several years where she received and utilized training in large animal rescue. She continued to expand her knowledge of equine health through unique experiences with rescues and the process of rehabilitation. This ignited her passion for a career as an equine veterinarian. Kathryn attended veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies on the island of St. Kitts. She finished her veterinary schooling at the University of Georgia. Dr. Storm focuses on equine and companion animal medicine. Her special interests include rescue and rehabilitation, colic resolution, and internal medicine. Dr. Storm currently resides in Frostburg, Maryland with her husband, three cats, three dogs, and a Senegal parrot. She enjoys spending her time with her family, mountain biking, and hiking.
