Dr. Paul Smail is originally from Madison, Wisconsin. He moved to Atlanta in 2008. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology from The Florida State University, Dr. Smail graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. Smail is well versed in all aspects of small animal medicine, but has special interests in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and geriatric medicine. Dr. Smail is married to Dr. Nicole Smail, a pediatrician for PAMPA. They have two children, Gavin (19) who is a freshman in college and Sophia (15) who is a sophomore in high school. They have two dogs, Bowden a Labrador Retriever and Badger, a Golden Doodle. Dr. Smail enjoys watching sports, playing tennis, taking his dogs to the North Carolina mountains, and traveling with his family [citation].
