Dr. Brown grew up in Arlington, Washington, but has considered Eastern Washington her home since moving here in 2011. She attended Washington State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school, graduating in 2018. Early on in her career, Dr. Brown practiced mixed animal medicine in rural Eastern Washington/Western Idaho. She then found herself for four years practicing emergency medicine in Spokane, caring for critical animals when regular veterinary businesses were closed. Dr. Brown has been at North Spokane Veterinary Clinic since March of 2022 initially providing relief surgeries, but is now a regular veterinarian on staff. Her interests include surgeries, emergency medicine, and complex medicine cases. Outside of work, Dr. Brown has a small farm with 30 head of cattle along with chickens, ducks, and geese. She also has four dogs (Celah, Rhett, Diesel, and Winston) and eight cats (Maverick, Swagger, Flint, Boots, Wilde, Clyde, Bonnie, and Pepper). Although no longer here, her first ever fur-children Smudge-the most handsome long haired black cat, and Miller-the most perfect black lab, live on forever in her heart. Dr. Brown has been happily married to her husband Daniel (DJ) since 2018 and they have two feral boys named Declan and Bennett. The family enjoys being outdoors - gardening, farming/ranching, hunting, fishing, hiking, four wheeling, and boating. Dr. Brown is very excited to help provide care for the family members who call North Spokane Veterinary Clinic their family as well [citation].
