Melissa Hudson attended North Carolina State University, where she earned her B.S. in Poultry Science in 1989. She attended the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM in 1993. Additionally, Dr. Melissa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, meaning she has undergone a certification process by demonstrating high standards of quality in the practice of veterinary medicine. In 2005, she took over as Practice Owner of Northwoods Animal Hospital when Dr. Dan Hudson, her father, retired.
