Dr. Maureen Thornborrow graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After growing up in Madison, Dr. Maureen attended the University of South Carolina, where she earned her BS in Marine Science. She returned to Madison to attend veterinary school, where she met her husband, Mark. After graduation, she and Mark moved to Green Bay, WI, where she practiced emergency medicine for several years before moving into general practice. After owning and eventually selling their own practice, she and Mark moved to the Northwoods with the intention of retiring but found she missed the animals and medicine too much to stay away. Dr. Maureen especially enjoys veterinary dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care. When not working, she enjoys snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with her two Dogue de Bordeaux, Rubi and Monty [citation][3].
