Rachel Williams is an Oregon native and recently moved to Salem to be closer to family. She spent her childhood growing up on a farm in Powell Butte, where a passion for caring for animals led to her desire to be a veterinarian from a very young age. Dr. Williams graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She practiced both mixed animal and small animal medicine in the Central Oregon area before moving to the valley. Dr. Williams’ professional interests include promoting preventative care and individualized medicine, senior pet care, and internal medicine. She strongly believes in striving to create low stress veterinary visits to allow pets and owners to have the most rewarding experience possible.
When not at work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. Her family also wouldn’t be complete without their two golden retrievers and two cats. In her free time, Rachel loves getting outdoors, admiring the beauty of the valley, reading a good book, and spending quality time with family and friends.
