Dr. Rebecca Banner started working in animal hospitals when she was just eleven years old; it's her passion and it shows. She graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and became an associate veterinarian at Animal Medical Care Center in Marietta where she practiced for three years. She then joined Pets Are People Too in Roswell where she worked for 15 years, eventually becoming the hospital director. In 2009, Dr. Banner moved to South Carolina to care for her parents while also working as an associate veterinarian at Animal Medical Care Center of Lady's Island, SC. Dr. Banner moved back to Atlanta in 2011 where she practiced at Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Group in Marietta until 2018. Later that year, she found a suitable location to build her dream clinic and Paw Patch Animal Clinic was born. Built with her clients and patients in mind, Paw Patch Animal Clinic is now her home away from home; she wouldn't want it any other way. Dr. Banner feels blessed to say that she’s never “worked” a day in her life and has an amazing client base that she considers family. Away from the clinic, you can find her on her phone texting her two college-age kids, or out in her garden digging in the dirt with her fur kids and chickens [citation].
