Dr. Melissa Johnson grew up in Marietta, GA, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2007. She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude in 2011 with a Master of Science in Biology from Georgia State University. After working for over a decade as a veterinary technician, Dr. Johnson moved to Grenada to attend St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical rotations at Texas A&M University and graduated Cum Laude in 2020. Her special interests include surgery, managing endocrine disorders, working with behavior cases, and emergency medicine — she’s always excited to take on new challenges. When not at work, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her pittie, Bean, cruising the open road on her motorcycle, and watching Georgia football…GO DAWGS
