Dr. Laura Meaux rejoined our practice in December of 2018 as a full-time associate. She enjoyed her time so much in 2015 to 2016 that she just had to come back She has practiced in St. Tammany Parish since graduating from Louisiana State University in 2001. Her focus in the exam room is primarily in client education and quality of life for all stages of life. Senior care, soft tissue surgery, and dental care are additional areas of focus. Although she loves dogs and cats equally, Dr. Meaux enjoys the challenging feline cases. Originally from Metairie, she settled on the North Shore with her husband, Paul, in 2001 where they raise their daughter, Amanda. Currently, the Meaux household has a mix of cats (the boys – Jack, Raymond, and Harley) and two dogs, Ariel (Boston/chihuahua mix) and Bones (mixed breed rescue). In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her pets, island dog, Jax, and three-legged cat, Pod [citation].
