Dr. Catherine Jula was born and raised in central Ohio. She was very active in 4-H growing up and showed her QH mare in a variety of Western events. She attended West Virginia University for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and then went on to veterinary school at Ohio State University. After briefly working in New York and completing an internship at Equine Specialty Hospital in NE Ohio, Dr. Jula graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken with a B.S. in a related field before pursuing her veterinary degree [citation].
