Cassie Ring is thrilled to join the skilled and compassionate team at Petchester Veterinary. As a Westchester County native, she is happy to be returning home after spending time in North Carolina for her undergraduate degree, St. Kitts for her veterinary degree, and Texas for her clinical studies. She received her Bachelors from Wake Forest University in 2014, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry and Art History. After working in a veterinary practice following graduation, she went on to receive her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts in 2019. She finally returned to the States to complete her clinical studies at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. While in veterinary school, she enjoyed spending time outside of the classroom volunteering with several rescue organizations, participating in dog-training classes, and fostering multiple rescued dogs and cats. Dr. Ring is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Westchester Rockland Veterinary Medical Association (WRVMA). She is also a Category I USDA Accredited Veterinarian in the state of New York. She has a mixed breed dog from the island of St. Kitts named Stella and a grey cat named Milo. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of friends and family, spending time with her pets, running, reading, and playing the cello.
