Dr. Amber Mullins received her DVM from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She has worked in mixed animal, emergency and relief veterinary medicine. Her special interests are soft tissue surgery, pain-control (including acupuncture) and emergency medicine. Dr. Mullins has volunteered many times doing surgeries on working horses and street dogs in Mexico’s Guatemala. She enjoys hiking, reading, teaching others about the Bible, and spending time with her horses, dogs and cats. Dr. Mullins especially loves the natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor adventures in this area. She had always been active in 4-H and Pony Club – competing in eventing and equitation.
