Mike Dyer received his DVM from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated from Marshall University with a degree in biology. He resides with his wife, Vallery, and two children, Naaman and Ann-Michal, on a 200-acre farm in Getaway, OH. They raise beef cattle and enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. Dr. Dyer also enjoys woodworking as a hobby. His area of interest in veterinary medicine is surgery, especially orthopedics. His journey of becoming a veterinarian started when he began his summer job with the clinic in 2011 and also working on animals with his dad on their farm. His interests are primarily in small animal soft tissue surgery. He plans to further his education and learn the techniques of orthopedic surgery and ultrasonography. In his spare time, Naaman enjoys playing music/songwriting, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, kayaking, and traveling [citation].
