Dominique grew up on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia and began her veterinary career at 15 years old, working in a small animal practice in her hometown. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in various private veterinary clinics in BC, Alberta, and Montana. In 2012, Dominique graduated as a registered veterinary technician from Thompson Rivers University. Her professional interests include canine and feline nutrition counseling, dentistry, and preventative care. Beyond her veterinary work, Dominique has a passion for horses, having worked as a show-jumping groom across North America and showing Andalusians in both Canada and the US.
