Dr. Jerry Lane joined Ridgewood in 2011 and later became owner in 2012. He was born and raised in southern Maine and followed his dream of becoming a Vet by moving to Virginia in 1998. He worked for 14 years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in various hospitals from Maine to Virginia before attending veterinary school. Dr. Lane completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Maine and later graduated from the Virginia Tech College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He and his wife, Gina, share their home with three young human children, three cats (Lily and Monty and Velcro), 2 dogs named Moxie and Liberty, and two guinea pigs (Ethel and Lucy). Dr. Lane’s interests are soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
