Sheila Weitkamp is a seasoned and compassionate veterinary technician with over 12 years of experience in the field. She oversees the entire process of patient care, including the administration, delegation, and completion of medical orders. Sheila has spent time in general practice, specialty, and emergency veterinary medicine and is highly skilled in various aspects of veterinary medicine, from assisting in surgeries and performing laboratory tests to providing compassionate veterinary care and administering treatments. She enjoys communicating with clients and is passionate about providing information and education to help them care for their pets. Her expertise and attention to detail ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care. Sheila also provides guidance and mentorship to veterinary technicians and assistants, ensuring they have up-to-date training and understand best practices. She currently has two dogs and one cat – Toby, Tucker, and Hope – who found their way into her life with a surprising entrance, and because her heart is three sizes too big, she couldn’t turn them away.
