Alyssa was born in Fort Collins, Colorado, and grew up around the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. From a very young age, she has known that she wanted to work in the veterinary field. She currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science with a minor in equine health. She has previously worked as a groomer and over the past 2 years has been working as a veterinary assistant. Alyssa has dreams to go veterinary school and work primarily with large animals. Alyssa currently has a small zoo of her own animals which include: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 8 chickens, and lots more. She is excited to be joining team River Run and getting to know all of our awesome patients and clients! [citation]
