Dr. Callyssa Cronick knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was about 5 years old. After bringing her first kitten to the clinic for his vaccines, she was hooked. She still honors him as her inspiration for going to vet school as well as for her passion for feline medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Cronick loves to read, fish, camp, and hike. She is looking forward to exploring more of Minnesota—the Boundary Waters and the North Shore are on her list. She has also enjoyed volunteering with Animal Humane Society and their community outreach events and hopes to continue to do so in the future.
Dr. Cronick has two cats named Dinah and Sven who are the best of friends. Dr. Cronick also has two guinea pigs, Trish and Maeve, who continue to entertain her with their quirky personalities. She received her DVM from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, small mammal medicine such as rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters, and feline medicine. It is her goal to have clients feel educated and comfortable with their pet’s health, so please ask her questions
