Dr. Eric O. Colón was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He attended The University of Puerto Rico where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Animal Science. He continued to follow his childhood dream of becoming a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine by attending The Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama. He graduated in 2010 and has worked ever since as a small animal veterinarian. His special interests within the field are in small animal internal medicine, emergency medicine, radiology, and soft tissue surgery.
Apart from work, Dr. Colón enjoys his time off by spending time with his loved ones, going to the beach, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He shares his home with all of his fur babies, his Shih Tzu's named Jojo & Annie, his Yorkie Spike, and his Staffordshire Bull Terrier named BamBam. He also has three adorable cats named Smokey, Phoebe, and Nikki [citation].
