Hi, I’m Dr. Talbot... I consider myself a Greensboro native, having moved here with my family when I was just 3 years old. Not straying far for college, I earned my bachelor’s degree at UNC- Chapel Hill and my doctorate of veterinary medicine at NC State University in 2010. Following veterinary school, I completed an internship locally at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro focusing on internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. My husband, who is also a (large animal) veterinarian, and I met shortly after I graduated from college, and we have now established our family roots here in the Greensboro area as well. We welcomed our first child, Calvin, in 2012 and his little sister, Katelyn, in 2015.... With dogs, goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, quail, turkeys and other animals around our house at any given time, our kids are most certainly becoming animal lovers too. Allergies have sadly kept my feline friends out of the house, but I can at least still happily get my kitty snuggles in at work.
