Dr. Alayna Thurman grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, and has worked in a veterinary clinic since she was a teenager. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University in 2019. She then moved to Missouri for Veterinary School, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri in 2023. Dr. Thurman primarily enjoys working with small animal furry friends but is excited to be working in a mixed animal clinic to help treat a variety of animals. Dr. Thurman and her husband Dalton moved back to Oklahoma in 2023, and they recently had their first baby girl, Rayven. They have four large dogs and two black cats. She enjoys spending time with her church group, family, and friends, going to country music concerts, photography, and being outside at their farm in Missouri [citation][3].
