Born and raised in Queens, NYC, Dr. Agnieszka Czaja earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Franklin and Marshall College. Her experience at the college’s vivarium inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She further honed her skills and passion as a general practice veterinary assistant and as a volunteer at the New York Aquarium for several years before attending Cornell University, where she obtained her veterinary degree. Since graduating, she has been caring for dogs and cats at a small animal private clinic in Brooklyn.
Dr. Czaja has special interests in preventative medicine, client education, pet nutrition, animal behavior, veterinary neurology, and internal medicine, and she is developing a growing appreciation for integrative veterinary medicine. She is dedicated to providing a stress-free experience for every patient and client, and she is passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond. Outside the veterinary clinic, Dr. Czaja enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and caring for her high-spirited Australian Cattle Dog-Husky-Pomeranian mix, Kazan. She also dabbles in arts and crafts and participates in various fitness activities.
