Dr. Sara Corrigan is dedicated to creating a calm, stress-free experience for her patients. She has a particular interest in dermatology, dentistry, and emergency medicine. Her love of veterinary medicine began at 8 years old when the family veterinarian allowed her to shadow at their local clinic for a day. She was fascinated by the veterinarian’s ability to heal, which blossomed into a life-long passion for animal health and wellness.
Dr. Corrigan graduated from the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and has studied or practiced medicine around the world, including Panama, South Korea, Thailand, and India. She loves all aspects of practice but particularly enjoys feline medicine and dentistry. She is fear-free certified and loves getting to know her patients and their families.
Dr. Corrigan is the recipient of the Army Civilian Service Achievement Award for her work as a veterinarian with the US military in South Korea. She is also a certified yoga instructor. She shares her home with two dogs and a senior kitty. When she is not seeing appointments, she enjoys reading and exploring the outdoors with her family [citation].
