Dr. Padalkar realized her passion for veterinary medicine after she began volunteering at Pet Aid, a companion animal clinic in Pune, India. After graduating from Bombay Veterinary College in 2010 and earning a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2012, she worked as a general practitioner in India for 5 years, focusing on diagnostic imaging and ultrasound scans. She began working in San Francisco after completing a year-long internship at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 where she gathered further experience in various specialties. Dr. Padalkar enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine because it provides an opportunity to nurture the human-animal bond. Her professional interests include diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, surgery, and dentistry. In her free time, she likes pursuing artistic hobbies and explores the outdoors with her husband.
