Tom Schuld graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. He practiced in small animal clinics in Minneapolis for 16 years, before moving to Maine in 2018. His special veterinary interests include general medicine, dentistry, and surgery, but what he enjoys most is getting to know his patients and the people who love them so much. In 2013, he traveled to Ecuador on a volunteer WorldVets spay/neuter project, where a little street dog approached him and quickly won his heart – that little dog, now named Chula, resides here in Maine with Tom, his wife Sandra, rescued hound Cooper, and cats Annabelle, Cecil, and Felicity. When not at the hospital, he enjoys spending time exploring all the things Maine has to offer.
