Dallas Rice was born in Nevada and moved to Slidell, LA as a child. She found her passion for animals at a young age and dreamed of being a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Slidell High School in 2013, then moved to Baton Rouge to attend LSU undergraduate studies. Dr. Dallas graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She joined the Southern Pearl Veterinary Hospital team during her time at veterinary school and continued working as a doctor after graduation. Her professional interests include surgery, wound care, and internal medicine. When not caring for patients, you can find her spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and bingeing the latest Netflix series. Dr. Dallas and her husband have 3 dogs, Samson, Yukon, and Tiki, as well as a cat, Peaches [citation].
