Clarissa joined us after graduating from SUNY Delhi with an Associates degree in Veterinary Science and having gained small animal experience both professionally and personally. Her animals were never just pets to her, but family, and the veterinary field has always held a special place in her heart. Her professional goal is to someday earn a specialty. Clarissa's favorite part about her job is working with so many wonderful clients and patients. She is Fear Free certified and says the program has opened her eyes to doing more and better for our patients, noting the significant positive effect it has on behavior. The loves of Clarissa's life are two cats (Oliver and Sophia) and a red-eared slider named Shell Razor [citation].
