Kaitlynn has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from California State University Channel Islands and is currently applying to veterinary school with the goal of becoming a DVM and working with exotic animals. Her favorite aspect of being a veterinary assistant is seeing patients walk out of the clinic looking and feeling better than when they arrived. Outside of work and studying for vet school, Kaitlynn enjoys spending time with her family, friends, significant other, and pets. She also trains dogs in her free time. Kaitlynn shares her home with 3 pets: Phoenix, an American Staffordshire Terrier; Nala, an American shorthair; and Trixie, a calico [citation].
