Dr. Amanda Melhus obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota in 2009 and her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University in 2013. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical rotations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. Her favorite aspect of being a veterinarian includes interacting and educating clients about their pets, while creating long-lasting relationships with the pets and their families. Dr. Melhus takes a special interest in dermatology and dentistry. In her spare time, she spends her days with her daughter, husband, her gardens, and the menagerie of pets they call Fraser Ranch [citation].
