Dr. Nicole Amon grew up on the west coast of Florida before moving up to Virginia to get her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then spent two years living in Seattle and working at a veterinary emergency and referral hospital before attending veterinary school in Prince Edward Island, Canada. During her time in veterinary school, she was an active member and officer of the school’s emergency medicine and holistic medicine clubs, and volunteered for the Pet Loss Support Line to help grieving families who had lost beloved pets. After graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2012, she moved back to Florida and has been practicing in South Florida ever since. After graduating, Dr. Amon went on to get her certification in veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL. Her interests include internal medicine, pain management, integrative medicine, and emergency medicine. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, running, yoga, playing the piano and cello, reading, and crossword puzzles. She has four pets of her own - a dog named Koda, and three cats, Delilah, Arlo, and Patrick [citation].
