Krystal Krucik leads program development and implementation, including tours and behind-the-scenes experiences, virtual programs, and interpretive resources. Prior to joining the Center, Krystal served in roles at the New England Aquarium, the EcoTarium, and San Diego Zoo. Krystal has a long-standing passion for rehabilitating marine mammals, having volunteered with the Sea Otter Research and Conservation team at Monterey Bay Aquarium while earning her bachelor’s degree at UC Santa Cruz. She is also a Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association of Interpretation. Krystal also loves board games, trapeze, and long walks with her dog. Her areas of expertise include informal environmental education, STEM-based education, public programs, and public speaking and interpretation [citation].
