Christine Gibson purchased The Pet Hospital in 2002 from Dr. Eric Probst, who had practiced in the Petal location since 1992. The little yellow house was remodeled with a front porch, a fenced exercise yard, a dog boarding kennel, a cat boarding room, and an isolation ward for the sickest pets. Over the years, thanks to a fabulous staff and the patronage of many great clients and their four-legged family members, the little pet hospital continued to grow. In 2014, Dr. Gibson earned a certification in Veterinary Acupuncture, and the hospital expanded its services to include holistic care. In 2018, Dr. Gibson’s niece, Dr. Kate Lee, joined the staff, and they decided to add a second location just outside of the Petal city limits on the Evelyn Gandy Parkway [citation].
