David was born and raised in Thomson, Ga. and has been a life long member of the community. He grew up bringing his pets to Dr. Ruehle, the founder of McDuffie Animal Hospital. He went to Thomson High School with Dr. Ruth McNeill. David joined the team at McDuffie Animal Hospital in 1992 as a veterinary assistant and received his Veterinary Technician License in 2004. He purchased the hospital from Dr. Ruehle in 2008. He has been married to Denise for 27 years and along with their 3 children Tanner, Ella G, and Ashland make their home in Thomson.
