Ruth McNeill is a native of Thomson. She grew up bringing all her pets to Dr. Ruehle and went to Thomson High School with David. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and practiced at Westside Animal Hospital in Augusta for 14 years. She has been at Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital since 2015. She lives with her son Edwin and dog Duck.
