Casey Choate was born in Salem, Oregon but grew up in Bellevue, Washington. She attended and received her Bachelor of Science in 1997 at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. A few years later she started working in the veterinary field as an assistant and a clinic manager. That’s when she decided to return to school to become a veterinarian. She took the sciences required and then applied to the veterinary school at Washington State University. She graduated in 2012 with her DVM.
Since graduation, Dr. Choate has been practicing small animal medicine. Her interests are dermatology, senior health, hospice care, wellness prevention, and acupuncture.
In her free time, Dr. Choate spends time visiting her family, and hanging out with her toy poodle Champ, her Chihuahua Little Man, her cat Nigel, and her Quarter horse Libby. She enjoys reading, gardening, riding her horse, and watching horror movies.
