Dr. Derek Heizer joined our clinic in June 2016. He received his BS in dairy science from Virginia Tech and then went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Dr. Heizer lives in rural Alamance County with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys working with and showing his Holstein and Brown Swiss cattle [citation][3].
