Mark Nunez completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA and is a graduate of The University of California at Davis Veterinary Medicine Program. He has held multiple positions at VCA, including veterinarian at VCA Animal Hospital, Burbank and regional medical director for Southern California. Dr. Nunez was a past President of both Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) and the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). He has served 5 years on the California Veterinary Medical Board as appointed by Governor Jerry Brown. In his spare time, Dr. Nunez loves to dance and is a member of the L.A. Wranglers, a competitive Country & Western dance troop. He lives in Burbank with his Chihuahua mixes Bertie, Sammie, and Margaret [citation].
