Dr. Monica Kuramura was born and raised in Salinas, California. She attended local schools and went on to California State University, Fresno where she earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences in 2006. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in 2010. Dr. Kuramura has been a part of several spay and neuter programs including RAV'S and SPCA, most of which were in the Monterey County area. She worked for VCA All Pets Animal Hospital Salinas as a technician prior to attending veterinary school and was very excited to return to the VCA All Pets Animal Hospital Salinas team again in 2011.
In her free time, Dr. Kuramura enjoys baking, cooking, camping, volunteering at the local shelters, and spending time with her daughter and their furry pets and feathered companions [citation].
