Heather Jones attended Virginia Tech as an undergraduate and went on to gain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Tufts University, followed by a neurology and neurosurgery residency at Washington State University, where she also earned a master's degree in Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Heather Jones was board-certified in Veterinary Neurology in 2012 and has practiced in New England since 2014. While she finds all areas of veterinary neurology fascinating, Heather Jones particularly enjoys the management of brain disease, including seizure management [citation][3].
